Laboratory of MSSB physics: publications,conferences,awards
5 monographs, 6 chapters to 4 books and numerous papers in domestic and foreign journals have been published based on the theoretical and observational studies of the small solar system bodies. The monograph “Polarimetric Remote Sensing of Solar System Objects” (2010) written by Mishchenko M.I., Rosenbush V.K., Kiselev N.N., et al., won first prize at the International Academy of Astronautics Book Award.
Two international conferences of the NATO Advanced Study Institute and a workshop were organized and held in cooperation with American colleagues: "Photopolarimetry in Remote Sensing," September 20 - October 3, 2003, Yalta; Workshop on Remote Sensing Techniques and Instrumentation: International Cooperation, October 4-10, 2003, Kyiv; Special Detection Technique (Polarimetry) and Remote Sensing, September 12-25, 2010, Kyiv
M. M Kiselev and V.K. Rosenbush with co-authors awarded the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology in 2010 for the work "Development of theoretical foundations, development and application of polarimetric methods and equipment for remote sensing of solar system objects by ground and aerospace" (Kiev, 2010, 201 pages); L. M Shulman was awarded the Bredikhin Prize (1989); L. M. Schulman and G. K. Nazarchuk became laureates of the Barabashov Prize of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (2007). An international recognition of the great scientific contribution of the department's staff is the assignment of their names to asteroids: 3965 Konopleva, 4187 Shulnazaria, 4208 Kiselev, 18114 Rosenbush.
P. P. Korsun, O. V. Ivanova, I. V. Kulyk awarded the Barabashov Prize for a series of scientific publications in the field of physics of comets
